AIM Getting Started — Part 2: Recommendations, Architecture & Decision Outputs [00:00] Part 2: From intake to decision Part two picks up where Part one left off. The assessment exists. Now we strengthen the record, then turn intake into ranked recommendations, architecture, and cost outputs a county decision-maker can defend. [00:11] Link systems in scope Link documented systems into this assessment. ERP, identity, GIS, and network platforms become part of the decision record — reuse, don’t re-enter. [00:37] Close evidence gaps Evidence Gaps asks only what still improves scoring confidence. Answer a few follow-ups and watch Signal Strength move before you generate recommendations. [01:06] Now the record is ready for analysis Now the record is ready for analysis. Systems are linked, evidence is stronger, and AIM can score options against this organization’s constraints. [01:15] Generate recommendations Generate recommendations. AIM scores candidates against your constraints with transparent dimension weights — not a black-box vendor shortlist. [01:34] Recommendation & Decision The Recommendation and Decision workspace shows ranked options with rationale. Leadership can see why a path leads — and what trade-offs remain. [02:06] Architecture diagram Architecture turns the selected path into a dependency-aware diagram. Teams can see identity, integrations, and boundaries before implementation spend. And this is not a static picture — you can edit the diagram yourself: drag nodes, rearrange edges, and clean up the layout visually until it matches how your organization wants to present the target architecture. [02:45] Documents, edits & lifecycle cost Documents match your sector — executive summary, implementation guide, vendor brief, and RFP. Federal IGCE stays gated off. Open each document and scroll the full result. Then edit inside AIM: change the draft, save, and every update is audited, shared org-wide, and versioned. Finally open the TCO calculator, set the projection period, run Calculate, wait for totals, and expand the detailed breakdown — lifecycle affordability for Year two, three, and five, not just build cost. [04:09] Next: Part 3 Part three continues after award: Project Pulse for delivery governance, Sustainment for as-built change control, and Mission Control for observation. End of Part 2.
